Marchand's Return a Major Boost for Bruins as They Head to St. Louis for Game 5

The Boston Bruins got a much-needed boost on Tuesday when forward Brad Marchand was cleared to play and will travel with the team for Game 5 of their second-round playoff series against the St. Louis Blues.

Marchand missed the last two games of the series with an upper-body injury, but he practiced on Tuesday and said he feels good enough to play. His return is a major boost for the Bruins, who are looking to tie the series at 2-2 heading back to Boston for Game 6.

"He's a big part of our team," Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy said of Marchand. "He brings a lot of energy, a lot of skill, and a lot of physicality. He's a guy who can make a difference in a game."

Marchand is one of the Bruins' most important players. He is a versatile forward who can play on both the wing and at center, and he is a key component of the team's power play. He is also a physical player who is not afraid to get in the mix, and he is a leader on and off the ice.

The Bruins will need Marchand to be at his best if they want to win Game 5 and tie the series. The Blues have been a tough opponent, and they will be looking to take advantage of the home-ice advantage in Game 5.

"We know it's going to be a tough game," Marchand said. "But we're confident in our team, and we're ready to give it our all."
